About Jonathan
I graduated from Rutgers University - New Brunswick with a B.A. in Cell Biology & Neuroscience. While there, I worked as a teaching intern for Organic Chemistry for 2 years helping with students in small group settings (recitations, office hours, tutoring).
After graduating, I've continued to work as a private 1-on-1 tutor for General Chemistry/Organic Chemistry for both high school and college students. I'm currently working in R&D for a pharmaceutical company, where I'm investigating diagnostic and therapeutic tools for cancer and glaucoma.

I use a discussion/inquiry-heavy teaching style to help you deep dive concepts. My goal is to help you think like an expert, so that you won't have rely solely on memorizing things.
I develop lesson plans based off of your needs, whether it be a concept overview, some review questions, homework help, or just some quick explanations.
I'm a fast responder and can help you out most hours of the day. Even if you don't need a whole session, I'm always free to answer a quick text here or there.
