About Jennifer
I worked several years in various laboratory roles at both other institutions of higher learning as well as privately run and operated medical research centers. At Long Island University, CW Post I was introduced to a multitude of routines required to maintain and run basic laboratory procedures. Upon entering into my research position at Albert Einstein Hospital, I expanded upon these skillsets to produce tangible results and publications. Through these positions I was able to carry out various procedures including: cell cultures, preparing stock solutions, animal husbandry, dissection and surgery, gathering and analyzing data and scientific literature, and moreover, presenting the material and information to multiple groups of people – from scholars to students. While working on my masters I served as a teaching assistant in classes such as anatomy & physiology, microbiology and intro to biology. I understand how to break concepts down and make difficult subjects easy to understand.
