About Aaron
I am science teacher certified by the state of Illinois and Indiana. During my four years of teaching, I have taught a multitude of subjects (Middle School Science, Environmental Science, Physics, and Chemistry) to a wide age range of students (6-12 Grade).

Within my class, we focus on understanding the scientific phenomenons through real life examples, group discussions, and hands on experiences.
My lessons typically begin with a real life question or problem that we are trying to solve. From there, we explore the topic using different texts, examples, discussions, and simulations. Once we have enhanced our understanding of the topic, we re approach the question/problem and try to answer it with our new understanding. If our answer appears correct, we reapply it in a different context to see if it still works. If our answer appears to be incorrect, we go back and diagnose where the misunderstanding is.
