About Elia
Hello! My name is Elia. I am a native French speaker from Belgium and I am spending a year in Australia to improve my English. I recently graduated from high school with a strong focus on science and math, and I have always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. I am a kind and attentive person. My goal is to make my students feel comfortable and motivated. I always adapt my lessons to each student’s needs to help them progress quickly and effectively, while keeping the classes fun and positive. Being 19 and freshly out of school myself, I understand what it’s like to attend classes every day. I am still learning English, so I know the best ways for the brain to retain new information, and how to make lessons dynamic and stimulating. Although I do not yet have formal teaching experience, I have taught before, which allowed me to learn how to engage students and motivate them. I have also worked as a gymnastics coach for children in Belgium, which taught me how to structure sessions, explain clearly, encourage, and adapt methods to each student. Taking lessons with me means learning French in a friendly, positive environment, tailored to your goals, while making fast progress and enjoying the journey!
