About Myles
Bonjour! I'm Myles and I'm North African. I've studied French for several years before I finally became an advanced-fluent speaker. I also speak 3 languages! So I, like you, definitely understand how challenging mastering the French language, or any new language, can be. However, I'm confident that we can work together to make this an educational and enjoyable experience. As a former ESL tutor, one of my former students from Panama is now an English tutor himself. Seeing the impact I've made on people's lives has inspired me to continue offering my time where I can with language learning. I don't believe in aggressive styles of teaching or penalizing students for mistakes. Instead, let's work together to identify the mistakes and determine how we can fix them!

Learning a language can be fun if you make it so! As a former student who became fluent in French through immersion, I believe in an immersive method of language education. Immersion through music, speaking activities, films, literature, culture, and etc. My typical daily lessons begin with a fun fact about France or a Francophone (French-speaking) country. The largest component of my lessons can be tailored to a student's needs/interests but typically includes an emphasis on speaking, pronunciation, and grammar. My lessons are geared towards beginner French learners of all ages. My expertise is also geared towards conversational and reading practice.
