About Sarah
I graduated from the University of Florida in 2023 with a Bachelor of Design in architecture. I started working for myself right out of college as a food blogger. The design skills from my schooling were incredibly useful to setting up my website, marketing on social media, and writing content. I moved from Florida to New York City 2 years ago. To make some extra income I began a virtual assistant service for fellow food bloggers. This grew into design and illustration freelance work. From designing T-shirts, helping bloggers rebrand, creating cookbooks, and illustrating short stories. All of my creativity stems from early childhood experiences of painting with my grandmother. I never stopped painting with watercolor and it is still my favorite thing to do.

I break down lessons into easy manageable steps so you understand the why behind drawing and painting.
Aside from my freelance work I also work as a figure skating coach. From this experience, I understand how important patience is. Everyone learns at their own pace and drawing or painting is no different.
I prioritize having fun and making the process of developing new skills exciting and joyful.
