This Ad is for for Adult learners over 18. (Please see my other advert if you are interested in tutoring for children). I see art/drawing as a form of therapy that not only relaxes the mind but expands the way we think about something and life in general.
My name is Esmée I graduated from Central St. Martin's CSM in 1996 with a 1st Class BA Hons in Fashion with Print. My class mates included Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. I will deduct the joining fee that you pay to join this site form the price of yur first class with me.
After a introduction and small talk, we could find what makes you want to learn and what is best approach as for individual and for groups.
I will be able to help anyone seeking a stronger grounding in traditional drawing and painting techniques than is typically provided by the art faculties of contemporary schools and universities. I am happy to teach people of all levels, from beginners who haven`t picked up a paint brush in their life to experienced artists who would like to incorporate new methods into their work.
I gravitate towards teaching GCSE and A-level students where you would need assistance on artist research, critical analysis, applying research to their work and also writing about your experimentation and processes.
I bring out the best in each in each student through teaching specific modules designed to develop their creative potential, observational drawing and painting skills.Through one to one tuition I build on the students strengths and areas needing improvement.
The level of difficulty for my lessons would be adapted to each student. No student is required to have even drawn before, just an interest for drawing. I will have different lessons for both artists who would like to get better at drawing on the side, as well as those who would like tips for their exams.
I believe in experience based, reflective learning and as such structure that into my teaching. I incorporate both individualised learning paths as well as constructive group criticisms and collaboration within my sessions. I have been observe and assessed as a calm and collected practitioner, with skill in differentiating for all levels of learners.
once the student has chosen an art form to study harder on, I will asses the level in which they are currently working and then move from there by introducing them to new techniques and methods. I focus on teaching academy students that are studying for a national 5 or higher in Art & Design.
I am a Student studying Illustration, and my skill set could be useful for students at school studying Art, who perhaps need a hand with sketchbooks, or even hobbyists who want to improve their drawing or painting level, aswell as observational skills.
I can give lessons to anyone who is interested in learning character design for art school or just in needing of improving their design, We would start with the fundamentals of creating a character for character design for animation. facial expressions, body language, story, silhouette, etc.
Teaching people of all ages in a calm and relaxing atmosphere so people can get inspiration to a maximun beeing it inside doors or outside drawing from nature or from set up composations of objects or still life. And models.
My method of teaching is exploring each & every students level of talent and refining it to develop into a skill. I hold lessons as workshop and make them aware of possible mediums and how to use them, then let every student decide their level of interest and subject . Making art as a way to express every thought of a student makes them work to their best potential.
My teaching method is to listen to my student's needs, and approach them accordingly. I try my best to share what I know, but more so I try to generate confidence from each student and assure them that their own approach is just as valid as mine.
my teaching method is to communicate with the people i tutor, get to know their skills, and what they like doing in art as well as helping them improve on their skills and teaching them new things while also allowing them to be creative themselves
Depending on your own needs and dreams I will create a unique teaching method. My main goal is to inspire you and help you find your own source of creativity. The first lesson is a good chance to discuss and experiment with different alternatives.
My lessons will consist of explaining what new techniques and processes that we use in drawing, to see what the individual knows by themselves. Im here to help them adapt and grow. I am my own person designer.
I teach fully on practical and partially on theory.
I base my classes on brainstorming to help students generate ideas on a chosen topic working as a team to accomplish our learning goal
Adaptive, I would understand the preferences of the individual and tailor my teaching toward them. I would structure easy tasks for each lesson and subsequent classes. Friendly and eager.
You will be shown the difference between line and tonal drawing and how to use both in order to create a convincing realistic drawing, also how to avoid the common pitfalls beginners often find themselves in. At no stage will you be left wondering where to go next as each stage develops on top of the last, starting with simple objects gradually progressing in complexity.
My approach depends almost entirely on the student and what they are hoping to get out of the sessions. Depending on what you want to learn or improve upon, we'll do things a little differently. However, I can be relied upon to remain consistent in a few ways: 1. I will always centre the student's experience, desires, and learning style.
The first session I would asses the level of the student, and work with them a strategy and a curriculum. For inexperienced students, I would start with the basics, by doing exercises with pencil, training the arm muscles to control the pulse is essential. I would include exercises that focus on still life, to train the eye and the memory.
I base my classes around my students. I can cover a wide range of traditional and modern media. I approach each topic based on colour theory and strong composition. It's important to understand the basics before you are able to master illustration. We can work in line, tone, or colour. I can also provide critique and feedback for current projects and help you work towards your art goals.
I give lessons to anyone of theMy teaching method is based on cultivating an appreciation for reflective learning.
We must all learn according to our own rhythm, passion and interest. Things are done because the motivation comes from within, and that's where I focus to guide. You do not learn better than doing what you like and at the pace you like.
As a high realism painter, my aim is to teach students a proper foundation of seeing and rendering accurately, how to handle drawing materials and use tools properly. With a proper foundation, the student can create a style of artwork with a proper technique. Students begin with an introductory lesson, and will learn portrait, still-life, or landscape realism subject of their choice.
I like to learn and transmit my knowledge, with patience and pedagogy. I need to know the expectations, skills and tastes of each to adapt my course to the best. My goal is not that the student draws like me, but that he progresses and discovers the drawing techniques that I know.
I am very creative so it all starts with an abstract method and there is no hard and fast rule I follow. The classes are entirely based on how the individual wants and how much far he is ready to learn.
Whatever your age or level, there is always an appropriate way to learn, progress or even train for classes or at a professional level. We can go from the theoretical course to ultra-personalized exercises according to your needs, after having determined together the axes that you intend to explore.
