About MOHAMAD ZULKARNAIN
I am a candidate for the Master of Science degree at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu, Malaysia. My field is biotechnology, which includes the usage of environmental DNA to detect invasive aquatic species. During my free time, I managed a freelance English proofreading service to university students and the private sector. This service was initially established to help my fellow friends on their manuscripts, but in recent months, it has developed into a steady flow of orders from many sectors. I believe that I can use this ability to assist the ones in need, as English is the lingua-franca of the modern world.

I prefer the use of simple and non-formal way of teaching based on the student's grasp on basic/initial understanding of the topic. To teach English as a second language, one must be able to find meaning and relations to connect with their mother tongue. Thru this connections only that we can proceed, maybe slowly but effectively, to find a common ground.
