About Clara
My name is Clara and I am mainly a singer with a main focus on jazz and pop. I graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in the summer of 2020. I live in Stockholm and have been working as a freelance musician for a few years now. My experience and education in music is solid and in addition to singing I play the piano and the violin.

I have previously taught both singing, violin and piano both privately and within institutions, and also as a substitute for music teacher friends to me. I am not considered a professional pianist, but I have played the piano since childhood and have a solid music education in my luggage. I teach adults and young adults who are beginners or relatively new to piano playing. We can work on your music reading, music theory, chord analysis and the basics for comping e.g. singing. I'm always curious about the student's personal goals and visions around his or her playing and use that as a base for the teaching. Since I am a freelancer, I am (and must be) flexible regarding lesson hours and usually book the next opportunity from time to time based on what suits us both. I prefer meet up IRL rather than online, at least the first few lessons, but since we are in a pandemic, online is a possible solution that is well suited if we want to talk about chord analysis, music theory and simple music reading or for Q&As.
