About Jane
About Me
I’m a Social Sciences graduate from the Lebanese University, where I graduated with a Good distinction, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Development Studies at UNSW Sydney.
I am French-educated and have always had a strong passion for languages, social sciences, and education. I have 3 years of experience teaching French and 4 years of experience teaching Sociology, which has taught me how rewarding it is to help students grow and discover their own abilities.
What I love most about teaching is seeing that moment when a student finally understands something that once seemed difficult. I believe teaching is not only about giving information—it’s about encouraging, motivating, listening, and building confidence.
I enjoy getting to know each student and adapting my lessons to their personality, level, and goals. For me, every student is different, and finding the right way to help them learn is what makes teaching so meaningful.
I’m patient, approachable, and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed. I hope to make every lesson a positive experience where students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to improve.

About the lessons
My lessons are personalized, interactive, and adapted to each student’s individual needs and goals. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, practical, and focused on building confidence.
For French, lessons can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or comprehension, depending on your level and objectives.
For Sociology, I focus on making complex concepts simple and easy to understand. Lessons can include explaining theories and key concepts, reviewing course material, developing critical thinking and essay-writing skills, and preparing for exams.
Before starting, I like to understand the student’s level, goals, and areas they find challenging. I then prepare lessons accordingly and adjust my teaching style to suit their learning pace.
Whether you are a complete beginner, a school student, or a university student looking for additional support, my goal is to help you understand, improve, and feel confident in your abilities.
I offer a friendly and supportive learning environment where you can ask questions freely and learn at your own pace.
