About Raphaele
Bonjour,
I am Raphaele, I'm currently a student at Leeds Beckett university studying international relations.
I grew up in a multicultural environment, with a French dad and an English mum.
I have lived in France most of my life and have received a full French education up to A levels (baccalaureat in France) with an A in French language. I have since year 11 and for the last 3 years tutored children in primary school and secondary school, working on writing, reading,comprehension, vocabulary and games in he aim to improve their French.

I generally start my tutoring by asking what is the most effective way the person in question learns, is it a visual learning, hearing, reading, writing and based on that I will find exercises that will stimulate the learning process. If the person in question doesn't know I will give him/her a starter test to see which method is most effective and what level we are starting from.
The methodology is very varied and changes according to the pupil in question it can go from games, to article analysis, songs, movies. I do try to make it interactive and search for ways that the learning isn't a chore but a "fun time". Through a personal interest I will bring French into the equation.
For example , one year, I had a year 8 pupil that loved gymnastics, so we took a video from the Olympics games where the performance of a young British gymnast was discussed by a French television presenter.
