About Lana

⸻ I am a multilingual professional with a strong academic background from Université Panthéon Sorbonne and Saint Joseph University of Beirut. With over 20 years of experience in international diplomacy, communication, and education, I bring a global perspective to French language instruction. Passionate about cultural exchange and empowering learners, I tailor each lesson to individual goals—whether academic, professional, or personal. My teaching is rooted in structure, clarity, and enthusiasm, ensuring that students not only learn French but truly connect with it.

About the lesson

As a French tutor, I bring a structured yet flexible teaching approach grounded in over two decades of international experience and a strong academic background from Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I) and Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Fluent in French, English, Arabic, and Italian, I tailor each lesson to match the learner’s goals, whether academic, professional, or conversational. My teaching method combines grammar, vocabulary building, listening comprehension, and cultural immersion. I emphasize practical usage and critical thinking through authentic materials—articles, podcasts, literary texts, and real-life scenarios—to make French relevant and engaging. A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by a main activity tailored to the student’s level and objectives—ranging from grammar exercises and reading comprehension to speaking drills and role-plays. We close with a recap and small assignment to reinforce the material. What sets me apart is my ability to integrate language learning with global context. My background in diplomacy and international policy allows me to offer students deeper cultural insight, especially useful for those pursuing careers in international affairs or preparing for exams like DELF/DALF, IB, or GCSE. My lessons are ideal for: • High school and university students • Professionals using French in global settings • Beginners eager to build a strong foundation • Advanced learners aiming to refine fluency and cultural nuance My priority is to build confidence, curiosity, and clarity in every session—making French not only accessible but empowering.
