About Justine
I am a Master's student in Human Resources and Organizations at the LSE, I have just completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I still lived in France at the time and gave English language one-on-one tutoring. I continued doing when I was in Canada, where people sought to learn French in instead. I offered French classes for a group of 20 students. I also tutored for my programme's statistics course, both one-on-one and in groups of 2 or 3.

I believe in learning languages in order to use them. Therefore, I usually focus on what my tutees want to learn, what would help them the most. Often it is oral expression, feeling comfortable enough to speak the language. I structure my sessions to better develop that skill. We usually start the session by reading a text, to work on pronunciation without worrying as much about meaning, then move on to discussing the text, to improve vocabulary and reading comprehension and usually end with a series of open ended questions, in order to spark a more genuine conversation that you would have had in the real world.
