About Valérie
I am a recent graduate of the Laval University (Quebec) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education - French as a first language – high school level. My goal is to have a teaching career in Alberta, where I plan to plant roots and develop into the best teacher I can be. At the time being, I do not qualify myself as fluently bilingual, though it is for me a short-term goal to achieve.

I approach my subjects like grammar with strategies by explicit teaching. It is also important for me to work in context for example with reals texts. By the way, I approach a new subject by making links with what is already known by the learner. I am a structured person and it is important for me that learners develop their autonomy and work with their own motivation and all this to be able to improve their French speaking and writting.
