About Brigitte
I moved from France after my baccalaureat and started teaching french in families. I worked in international media (Tv and radio) for quite a few years. My strong desire to bridge the gap between the french and english cultures led me to become a private french tutor in 2002. I started to teach children with La Jolie Ronde and then business french to professionals for a variety of companies (Renault, Vinci, Axa, Coca Cola, BP, Exon Mobil, Thales, Sopra Steria ...). I have also been preparing many students for exams like GCSE, As & A levels, DELF, FLE, TCF

I adapt my lessons to what the student wants to achieve. I use a variety of teaching methods based on books, recordings, texts and tailor make my lesson plans depending on the level and pace of the student. I believe that learning grammar is important even if the student wants to learn conversational french. It gives a good foundation to learn effectively. I give homework because it reinforces what has been taught in the lesson. But it is not all hard work, it can also be fun!
