About Lizelle
Hello! I’m Lizelle, a native English speaker from South Africa and a 150-hour TEFL-certified English teacher. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace Safety & Health and bring many years of professional experience in coaching, mentoring, and supporting people in the workplace.
Throughout my career, clear communication and helping others develop their skills have been an important part of what I do. This experience has given me the patience, professionalism, and communication skills I bring into my English lessons today.
I teach both young learners and adults, from A1 beginners onwards, and I am proficient in English and Afrikaans. I am passionate about helping students develop their English skills in a way that is practical, supportive, and suited to their individual goals.

My teaching style is relaxed, practical and personalized. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes as part of learning. I focus on building confidence alongside language skills and adapt my teaching methods, pace and activities to each student's individual needs and learning style. My professional background in coaching, mentoring and supporting people also allows me to make lessons practical and relevant to real-life situations.

I am a native English speaker and am proficient in both English and Afrikaans.
Lessons are interactive and focused on speaking, practicing and using English rather than simply memorizing rules. Depending on your goals, we may use conversation, real-life situations and engaging activities to develop your ability to communicate naturally and confidently.
I teach young learners and adults at different English levels, starting from A1. Lessons can focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure, listening, speaking and natural conversation. I also offer practical English for work, meetings, presentations, emails, travel, emigration and everyday communication.
