I give lessons to GCSE students, and I base my classes on a variety of sources, such as textbooks, mark schemes, and my own notes that gained me an A*.
I like to allow lessons to be led by the student, encouraging them to come to me with the topics/questions they found most difficult, and going through these systematically, although I do also offer structured lesson plans.
I am a medical student at UCL, with a passion for helping kids understand and love science! I have been tutoring for over 2 years now, and have taught students all across London in topics as varied as first aid and Arabic grammar! Being a doctor in training however the sciences have remained my favourite, and helping others explore the fascinating yet challenging worlds of biology + chemistry!
Farah is an amazing teacher! She tutored me during my final year of GCSEs and helped me get the grades to go to a great sixth form! I've always found chemistry difficult because of the equations but she simplified everything for me, drew diagrams, and just broke it down step by step! I highly recommend her.
I've known Farah for 3 years, we met while tutoring together for a charity that supported immigrant children. Working alongside her has been a pleasure; she is patient, organised and creative, and always manages to keep her students engaged, no matter the subject matter!
