About Moni
I've spent decades travelling and working internationally, and I know how isolating it can feel to struggle with a language in a new environment. That experience is a huge part of why I strive to bring compassion and patience to my lessons. It is important to me that my teaching is stimulating and structured, but also fulfilling and safe.
After all, learning a language is a courageous thing to do, and you deserve all the support and encouragement in the world. I understand the passion behind wanting to learn a new language, but I also know that for some people, it can be a professional, personal, or academic obligation, so I try to make lessons something you genuinely look forward to and come away from feeling positive about your progress.

My approach is relaxed, patient, and entirely focused on making you feel safe and supported. Learning a language can feel awkward and intimidating, so we go at your own pace and turn challenges into stepping stones rather than roadblocks.
To make sure you gain real-world fluency, about half of every session is spent on natural conversation to practise the grammar or vocabulary point we've just covered. I also provide optional homework so that you get a bit of extra practice between sessions.
Standard sessions run for 60 minutes, blending comfortable conversation with clear, targeted grammar and vocabulary practice.
As a Modern Languages graduate from Oxford University with over 20 years of international teaching experience, I bring a wealth of practical background to our sessions.
Lessons are open to all ages and levels, whether you are starting completely from scratch, building up your conversational confidence, or focusing on professional communication.
