About Ameera
I am a hardworking and enthusiastic 17 year old sixth form student studying Sociology, Philosophy and Geography. I have experience supporting children as a teaching assistant and through mentoring younger students in school. I am patient, organised and reliable, and I tailor each lesson to suit your child’s needs. My goal is to build confidence in English and Maths while creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every student can succeed

My lessons are designed for children aged 5–11 and typically last 60 minutes.
We begin by reviewing previous learning and identifying any areas the student finds challenging.
I introduce the topic using clear, step-by-step explanations and simple examples.
We work through guided practice questions together to build understanding.
The student then completes independent questions to apply what they have learnt.
I use games, interactive activities and positive encouragement to keep lessons engaging.
At the end of each lesson, we recap the key points and discuss what to focus on next.
Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs to build confidence and ensure steady progress.
