About Salone
I am an experienced and dedicated teacher with around 20 years of teaching experience. I have worked for 8 years in a primary school, teaching a wide range of students and helping them achieve real progress and confidence in their learning.
I currently work as a supply teacher, which means I am fully up to date with the current National Curriculum and the expectations in schools today. This allows me to provide highly relevant, effective support that directly links to what students are learning in the classroom.
I specialise in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps, helping students who may lack confidence or feel stuck in maths or other subjects. My lessons are calm, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs, whether they need help catching up, consolidating understanding, or preparing for SATs.
My focus is always on building confidence, improving understanding, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy gardening, tennis, cooking, and spending time on nature walks.

I offer friendly, supportive one-to-one maths tuition tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. My aim is to build confidence and help students make real, steady progress in maths.
All lessons follow the National Curriculum and are carefully planned to ensure full coverage of key topics. I support students with mental maths, arithmetic, problem-solving, and reasoning skills, helping them become more confident and independent learners.
Whether your child needs help catching up, extra support alongside school, or preparation for exams, lessons are adapted to suit their level and goals. I work at a pace that suits the learner, making sure they fully understand each topic before moving on.
My lessons are clear, structured, and encouraging, helping students improve their skills and achieve better results in maths.
