I am a college graduate, who just recently completed my A-levels. I am very passionate about maths and have studied maths and further maths at both GCSEs and A-levels. I achieved A* in both maths and further maths at GCSE. Fuelled by my desire to help others, I served as a mentor for my second year of A-levels but have always assisted my fellow students throughout secondary school and college.
Willing to tutor students up to 2nd year of a chemistry degree. My teaching method is a question based approach, using questions to see what the student knows and which areas need improvement before proceeding to help develop the areas that the student needs help in.
My teaching method is to focus on one topic per lesson to ensure sufficient detail is covered. In addition, after a few sessions covering similar topics I like to do summary lessons and short tests to identify what has learnt well, what hasn't and why.
Different students learn differently. Therefore, I will take a varied approach when teaching as some students are visual, auditory and some prefer reading/writing. Mainly be covering key topics in the subjects, by explaining, describing and problem solving. I am fun, hardworking, patient and here to make my teaching and student interaction enjoyable and beneficial.
My teaching methods vary, it all comes down to the individual. Not all students are the same, each may have their own preferred method of learning; some may like to do questions while others may prefer to use visual interpretations.
The best way to teach maths is solving as many examples as you can, In another saying, practice makes you perfect. with an approach to life application to understand the whole topic, I can teach to all types of degrees even the university students.
Every teacher has their own specific method to teach. I love to teach by explaining everything and writing notes so that student can revise everything before exams. I start every topic from the basic so that student understands what is the whole topic about. Different questions are practiced as well.
I have a strong passion for maths and use a combination of effective and reliable teaching methods: Focusing on specific weak topics Revising and understanding through worked examples Regular testing and marking to keep track of progress. I am dedicated to helping individuals exceed their targets.
I am an MSc Mechanical Engineering student at De Montfort University Leicester. Here, at University I am working in an Electric F1 racing team by leading the role as engineering manager. I have secured 100 percent in A-level mathematics and 97 percent in GCSE's level (equivalent Indian Standard).
I’m a university student studying an engineering degree. I give maths lessons from primary age up to GCSE level. My methods are varying as they are dependent on the students learning style. I will aim to make maths as enjoyable as possible.
Hi! I am second year Medical student studying at the University of Leicester. Although I may be a medical student, my favourite subject by far is maths. I love how maths is so practical in everyday life yet at the same time it helps explain the workings of our universe. As a person, I thoroughly enjoy helping others, and this is where tutoring comes in.
I am very flexible when it come to what topic you want to study. Being a student myself I know how the new syllabus can effect in a negative way but there's nothing to worry about because I will also advise you on what you should work on depending on your strengths and weaknesses.
My approach is thorough, but patient, as I want my students to gain an in-depth understanding of the subject so that they are able to achieve to the best of their ability. I am also adaptable to my students when teaching - one method doesn't necessarily fit all. As a further mathematician, I am able to teach A-level maths comfortably having completed the full two-year course in just a year.
I can adapt my teaching methods to suit students of varying abilities and learning styles. Students most commonly struggle with exam technique, so to combat this I work through exam style questions with the student(s) and provide helpful tips. I can also provide analogies so that students can better visualise a problem and find different ways to solve the same problem.
I believe the main difficulties with learning Science and Maths is the stigma that these subjects are far more complicated than they are. My teaching style to resolve this is to approach these subjects in a simplistic problem based structure.
I like to take students step by step through the subject content with relevant examples throughout. Students are always free to ask any questions they may have. Once I am sure that students understand the basic core material we move onto tackling past papers and how to perfect the examination technique.
I will be teaching KS2-KS3, and initially, I will highlight you weaknesses and tackle them first, then move on to higher level and take you ahead of your class. I will also be giving homework from time to time and will expect my students to finish it before the due date. And last but not least, I will most definitely give students tests to check their understanding and see if they have improved.
I'm a keen undergraduate physicist who is always happy to help my peers when they are stuck with degree level work. If I were to tutor you it would be useful if you'd bring work that you were stuck on, or specific topics that you would wish to learn about, so that the work would be specialised towards yourself.
I am offering lessons to students who are studying for their Maths GCSE's or Maths A-Level (C1,2,3,4) We will go through it topic by topic and after each topic there will be some work given to consolidate knowledge and a mini exam.
I have always enjoyed helping others around me. The best part about being able to tutor is physically seeing the support I provide helping an individual learn and grow to their full potential, whilst also unlocking new potential.
I mainly have a lot of experience of teaching maths because for 1 sum I can teach my students 3 different methods. I am happy to teach students whom are at GCSE level.
My motto is to find the simplest way to create understanding. I will not just show you how to do something, I will break it down so you have a thorough understanding to ensure that no matter what form the questions are put across, you'll always be prepared.
I am straight forward and to the point. I like to help children to understand the concept by doing practise questions. If they get the question wrong I can go with them how they got it wrong and how to make it right. At the start of tutoring I would like to start if with a maths test to see what level they are at (Depending on what school level they are).
With me when learning Maths i like to do the workings and i feel like with teaching it too it would help if examples are shown first then get the student to try a few questions. I think maths can be make easy by understanding the concept and why it works so i like to also show the reason why the answer is what the answer is.
Hello! I can help to ace your maths exams and/or help in any way you like! I have super skills and tricks, and deep knowledge of the subject. I can solve any doubts/questions you have or cover some topics you are stuck on in an effective way... I will give range of practice sums which will cover different types of questions which will help in all ways. Maths is easy, I am friendly,..
I'm Univeristy student, i follow a very friendly and considerate approach, I believe that teaching ahould be fun, so with me you'd be having a good time and at the same time you would learn a lot and benefit from every session.
My style involves explaining topics patiently, calmly and when needed repeatedly using a method that suits the student (e.g. using diagrams or physical props) and testing his/her knowledge gradually so that they feel comfortable. I am to create a friendly and relaxed environment and can adapt to suit my students.
My teaching method is based around interactivity. I like to use a lot of visual aids as some children prefer to see rather than listen. No question is a stupid question. I am very flexible - I can focus on specific learning needs or provide general teaching if someone needs extra help in line with the school curriculum. I can provide reports on progress as we go along.
My teching method is different . I mostly focus on basic things because if you can get basic then you can get harder more easier way .
My teaching method is based on theories around the maths subject and not just cramming the formulas but also understanding it in an easy way.
