¡Hola! Bonjour! I'm Jess — a Spanish & French Tutor for Children, Teens & Beginners I’m a friendly, passionate tutor with a BA in Spanish, French and Economics from a Russell Group university. I specialise in working with children, teenagers and adult beginners, helping them build confidence and curiosity in learning languages from day one. A Bit About Me Languages have always been a big part of my life — not just through study, but through real cultural experience. I’ve lived in Madrid, Málaga (Spain) and Aix-en-Provence (France), where I fully immersed myself in the local lifestyle, language, and sunshine! My grandparents have lived in the beautiful Charente region of France for over 20 years, so both French and Spanish cultures feel like home to me. I love sharing these lived experiences in my lessons — from food and traditions to idioms and cultural quirks that textbooks often miss! My Teaching Style My lessons are designed to be fun, interactive and confidence-building. I use a student-led approach, adapting lessons to your goals, pace, and interests — especially with younger learners. For children, I focus on games, songs and creative activities. For teens and adult beginners, I combine conversational work with grammar and structure to build real fluency. I also share useful vocabulary from everyday life — not just the textbook!
