About Erin
I’m someone who has always been drawn to language, storytelling and the way words can help us understand the world. Studying English Literature has given me the chance to explore different ideas, develop my own interpretations and appreciate how much there is to learn from a text.
I want to teach because I’d love to help students find their own voice and realise that there isn’t just one way to think or learn. I hope to make English feel less like a subject you have to get right and more like something you can explore, question and enjoy.

I’m a young, friendly and approachable English tutor who understands how much easier learning can feel when you’re taught by someone you can relate to. As a queer young person, I value creating a welcoming, inclusive and judgement-free space where students can feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I know that English can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and easy to understand. Whether you need help with reading, writing, spelling, essay structure or building confidence, I’ll work with you patiently and encourage you every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel capable, understood and proud of your progress.
