About Tina
I am an Art, Maths and Business student with experience tutoring children in maths. As I am currently achieving a grade A in Business Studies, I am open to tutoring students of any level in this subject also. I’d like to think I am a friendly person and easy to get along with.

I sometimes use illustrations to help children understand topics better (eg. pizza slices when teaching fractions or sharing sweets when teaching division). I like to use a whiteboard so that the student can visually see what I’m talking about. Being an art student definitely helps in that regard. I plan lessons in advance and I sometimes find that playing little games can help the student to work faster (eg. Who can answer the most questions? or Maths “Who wants to be a Millionaire”).
*I have also had the COVID vaccination so I am available for in person tuition*
