Everyone learns slightly differently and I aim to tailor my lessons to the student and find a method that works for them. Generally, we will work through the topics in the form of a mini-lecture, where I will use different examples and practice questions to cement the idea. Being a good problem-solver, I am good at being able to turn hard to understand information into examples in everyday life to make tricky material easier to remember or understand.
I am a first year medical student based at the University of York. I have a full, enhanced DBS certificate and experience tutoring maths GCSE and biology GCSE which I did alongside my A levels. Outside of these subjects; I also have experience teaching piano to younger children and I ran Medical society at my sixth form where I helped students in the lower year to begin the process of applying to medical school.
