About Shamiya
Hi! My name is Shamiya, and I’m a 17-year-old high school student who is passionate about helping children and middle school students improve their English skills. I’m friendly, patient, responsible, and I understand how important it is for students to feel comfortable and supported while learning. I also have a brother with autism, which has given me personal experience with supporting someone who learns and communicates differently. Because of this, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a comfortable learning environment. I’m open to working with children with different learning needs and would love to help them build their confidence, explore their abilities, and expand their horizons. I believe every student has their own strengths and deserves to learn at their own pace. I can help with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and basic English skills. Whether a student needs extra practice, homework help, or simply more confidence, I’m happy to support them. I take the time to understand each student’s needs and explain things in a way that is easy to follow. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, encouraging, and less stressful. I would love the opportunity to work with your child and help them grow both academically and personally!

My English lessons are designed specifically for children and middle school students who want to improve their reading and writing skills. I will help students with basic English reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Lessons will be simple, engaging, and easy to understand. I will work at each student’s own pace and focus on the areas where they need the most help. My goal is to help students become more confident in their English skills while making learning enjoyable.
