About Olivia
I am a very friendly, patient, understanding and invested tutor. I do not pressure my students but create a calm and trusting tutoring environment. I moved to the UK to study English Literature and hope that my deep interest shines through in my lessons.
I aim to get to know my students well and work with them patiently and comprehensively, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and establishing trusting connections. I like to ensure that they understand key ideas in English clearly and solidly before helping them practice their skills. My main goal is to help my students feel more comfortable and engaged with their courses and confident in their writing/analysis skills.

Hey! My name is Olivia, I completed my HSC in 2021 at Abbotsleigh and am currently a 2nd year student studying English Literature at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I am offering private tutoring in English for Years 7-12 (including HSC Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 or 2 English). I can also offer help in Economics (including HSC) and Latin (up to Year 11).
I can do one-off sessions to edit essays or creative writing, casual help and I can also take on a number of regular students. My approach is tailored to the student - from relaxed and easy-going academic support to intensive mentorship.
I will happily offer creative writing help on top of essay support - contact me if you would like extra support or mentorship with creative Extension 2 English major works as I wrote a poetry major work in Year 12 and am knowledgeable about the curriculum.
Due to time difference, I am only available between 8-11am and 7-10pm (Sydney time) via online lessons. Length is usually an hour.
