About Sarah
Hello! I'm Sarah, a friendly tutor of French. I'm degree qualified in French, German and linguistics (University of York, 2001) and have lived, studied and worked in both France and Germany. My career took in positions in Paris, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
I have twenty years' experience of tutoring on a one to one basis. I have experience of teaching at GCSE and A Level, as well as to adult learners 'from scratch' or to primary school children. I am able to teach in person or over Skype. Classes are relaxed and tailored to suit your individual needs, which I am able to discover quickly.

I concentrate on all the areas of language learning i.e. speaking, listening, reading and writing. I explain every single segment of the language and treat it as a building block exercise. This helps in understanding the more sophisticated grammatical structures. A lot of consideration is given to accent and pronunciation as well as vocabulary.
