About Esra
I am a certified Mathematics and Science teacher, teaching at the secondary level, as well as upgrading courses. I am certified in Ontario (OCT) and British Columbia (BCTF) and hold three degrees.
After stumbling upon coding, I fell in love with it and began my journey as a self-taught developer which then turned to me buying Udemy courses to improve my skills further, before finally enrolling in formal education through the University of Toronto Full Stack Coding Bootcamp.

If you are looking to grow your skills in software and learn about all the awesome things you could build through your newly developed skills, this is the place for you. I believe that picking up a skill in coding is an incredible advantage and if you have the passion and determination to learn the fundamentals, it could open up a lot of opportunities for the future.
The first lesson with me is always free, this is used for introductions where I could learn about the goals you're trying to accomplish through the tutoring and you get to ask me any questions as well. This will be followed by a mock class to demonstrate what a typical session would look like so you can decide if this is the right fit for you.
A typical session would begin with a mini 5-minute recap of prior knowledge and check-in of any questions you have. This is followed by an interactive teaching session where you would learn concepts through engaging activities so that you always come out of the session with code that YOU wrote. Lastly, I will assign you take-home activities for extra practice.
The difficulty of the sessions will be customized depending on your current level.
