Having experience in both lecturing large groups, conducting smaller tutorials and supervising dissertation students, I use mixed methods of teaching. Due to the engineering-based foundations of Computer Science I often use a lot of practical examples and experiences to explain complicated theoretical aspects.
The world of technology is so vast and continuously growing all the time. It would useless to define one particular area to teach people about tech. Therefore, my teaching method is rather flexible and tailored to every individual. I'm based in South West London (near Wandsworth & Wimbledon), but willing to commute and can offer remote support.
My teaching methodology is based upon the use of real life scenario's and practical activities. This includes an introduction to a client computing problem, theoretical explanations how the problem could be solved, and practical programming tasks to be completed for creatively solving the problem.
Hi there - thanks for looking at my profile! :-) I can teach you whatever you need to know for your Computing lessons, particularly relating to KS1, 2 and 3. I'm expert in eSafety and have written for 2 leading UK education magazines on the subjects of eSafety and teaching coding and computational thinking to young children.
I approach each topic by talking to the student to enquire whether they have some understanding or presumptions. Following this I briefly explain the topic broadly, ensuring key themes are visited. I then focus on these key themes with a in-depth explanation which is then followed by a task or a quiz to ensure the student understands.
I base my teaching around individual programming concepts, using anecdotes and other examples to help the student completely understand/grasp the concept. Once the concept has been fleshed out and broken down, I will set basic exercises that help familiarize the student with the concept and ensure they fully understand it through this application.
I'm happy to visit topics you feel are difficult and help you to understand them, or we can take a structured approach and go through the exam specification to make sure we go over everything you'll need for the exam.
I always make sure that the basics of my students are clear and then progress. I am patient and my approach is to understand the student's understanding level of the topics before starting helping them out with the subject. I prepare the lecture beforehand and then deliver.
I currently teach at an FE college where I also manage the Level 1 and Level 3 Year 2 cohorts. My teaching methods differ depending on my student group and their capabilities. I like to tailor my teaching to the individual.
I would like to get to know where my students are as far as their understanding of the subject goes, and I would like to be able to see how and where I'd be able to help them. I can teach remotely as well.
It all depends on what the person wants to learn and how far they want to go,it initially will start with a discussion of a summary of their requirements and then I can construct the best way forward for them
My teaching methods include the following but no limited to: Online training and coaching on fundamentals of Business Analysis & Project Management Emphasis on soft and hard skills required to succedd as a hybrid PMBA Job Search support and advisory on Contracting vs Permanent roles
I always use an interactive teaching method. I prefer to develop a good understanding to students but most importantly I would like to make my students think about the topic first. I like to encourage creativity in the classroom, thinking differently and finding good and innovative solutions to the problem.
Practical Approach to Testing with Insight into various Methodologies.I have technical education.I can provide practical experiences in Manaul as well as automation tools.I am always eager to duvilge as much information as possible and would like to have a very honest approach to any subject.
My teaching methodology is very simple. My target is that the student fully understand the topic covered. Explaining, recapitulation, cw, hw & using helping aid, giving support material is part of the lesson. In modern time various techniques/ methods are used. But best methodology is the one which convince & make the topic/ subject understandable to the Student.
I like to begin by assessing my students' knowledge of the topic at hand. Then, I help students build a solid foundation of fundamentals. After ensuring the student is confident in the basics, we can move on to discussing more complex topics.
