About Daniel
I started rowing at a small club in the north of England. I then went to Newcastle for University and joined the club there which is when I started to take it more seriously. In 2019 I competed for GB at the U23 European Championships in the M8+. Following graduation, I moved to Henley-on-Thames to row at the Leander Club. Consequently, in 2021 I was the second U23 bowsider in the country, competing for GB at the U23 World Championships in the M4-, I made the final of HRR in the visitors challenge cup, I raced in the M2- at the U23European Rowing Championships coming 4th in a strong field. Having performed well at U23 level, my next goal is to break into the senior team and be selected for the Olympic games.

A good training programme is the foundation of rowing training for rowers of any age. As such, the first lesson is spent discussing aims, goals and commitments to allow me to create a programme suited to you. After this has been completed and you are performing the programme, future lessons take the form of weekly training reviews. In these lessons we reflect on the training done that week, review video footage that may have been taken for technical gain, and I introduce new concepts that I have learned from my own personal experience.
Equally, I appreciate that not all people are looking for the full package. I also provide 1 hour video analysis lessons (30mins me analysing footage, 30mins me explaining it), race prep lessons or just lessons where you are looking for a bit of advice! Rowing is a sport for everyone, so I welcome all clients!
