About Lye siang
I have taught more than 90 O-Level students in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, and over 21 JC Chemistry students. The majority of my students consistently improve from borderline passes to B3–A1, demonstrating strong conceptual mastery and exam readiness.
In addition to teaching, I have over 8 years of laboratory research experience as a Research Fellow in NUS, allowing me to integrate real-world scientific thinking, experimental reasoning, and data interpretation into my lessons. This research background strengthens my ability to guide students beyond rote learning toward genuine scientific understanding.
