About Iona
Having achieved A*A*A in Biology, Maths and History at A level, I went on and my bachelor's degree at the University of Nottingham in Zoology. Following this, I worked with international schools across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia to run IB programmes, with a specific focus on biology. Having returned to the UK, I completed my PGCE qualification at King's College London and am now a fully qualified, working Science teacher. I have taught all three sciences up to GCSE as well as Biology A-level. I have seen many students through their exams, and have a good understanding of exam board requirements meaning I can make sure my students are as prepared as possible.

As a current UK-based science teacher, I am well-versed in a range of teaching strategies which will be employed to ensure the sessions are effective, engaging and purposeful. Lessons can focus on understanding content, developing exam skills and applying knowledge, depending on what we are aiming to achieve through the sessions. I have a bank of excellent resources and insight into exam board requirements, which will ensure I am preparing you for the highest chance of success.
