About Victoria
I am a Chinese native. I have lived in Australia since 2007. I have been teaching Mandarin in both Australian public and private schools for 8 years. I am responsible for setting up Mandarin LOTE programs for 3 schools in Australia and one Mandarin CLIL program in a middle school in Melbourne. Currently I teach humanities subject in Mandarin and Mandarin language as a second language as well.

I use student-centred approach to learning in my daily teaching. I encourage inquiry-based learning and cooperative learning in classroom. I use gesture-based approach in language delivery. Explicit teaching is essential for language learning. High-tech is vastly applied in daily teaching, such as keynotes, online games(Quizizz, quizlet &kahoot) and learning apps.
