About Louisa
I haven't given formal lessons before but extensively helped my younger sister through her English literature and language GCSEs, in both coursework and exam preparation. She found the subject challenging but achieved two high As, which was a huge achievement. I'm confident that I can be very useful for students who are basically capable in English, but just need a little extra help to get them up to the best level they can achieve.

I'm a nineteen year old student on a gap year student, and achieved an A* in my A level English literature and two A*s in my GCSE language and literature. I can help students develop and express their own ideas to a high level, as well as assisting with good understanding of texts within poetry, prose and theatre. I really love English and will encourage students to become comfortable reading and writing and enthusiastic about the subject, as well as boosting exam grades. I would mainly base lessons around work set by school English teachers; ensuring the student understands all the material properly. I can also help plan or write essays or exam questions, and help improve work already written, as well as setting extra preparation if desired.
