I START WITH A LESSON PLAN BASED UPON YOUR NEEDS AND MAP OUT A GOOD METHOD FOR YOU TO LEARN AND KEEP BUILDING ON WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY LEARNT. I REVIEW WHAT WE DID IN THE LAST CLASS AND MOVE ON WITH TODAY'S LESSON. AND ONCE EVERY 5-10 LESSONS I'LL GIVE YOU A PROGRESS REPORT.
I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree at the University of Chester, which means that I can very much so relate to student's needs. By bringing a fresh and joyful method of teaching I will use my patience to listen to your needs, and make the most of our sessions as I am aware of their value and importance. The lessons can be planned out by myself as well as by yourself.
I'm a nineteen year old student on a gap year student, and achieved an A* in my A level English literature and two A*s in my GCSE language and literature. I can help students develop and express their own ideas to a high level, as well as assisting with good understanding of texts within poetry, prose and theatre.
I am available to teach anyone from primary school through to college and will personalise lessons to suit my individual students. I am very patient and well organised and prepare a variety of tasks and ideas to help improve your grades.
I am a student at the University of Edinburgh studying English language, and did my A-Levels in English language, English literature, and psychology. I live in Ellesmere Port May - September, so I am available for summer tutoring before the school year starts. I am available to help with students up to A2 level with their studies in English.
For those who need help with the new GCSE in English or any head-scratching English homework in primary school, I can successfully say that you have come to the right place! I was in the first year to do these new difficult GCSEs and I achieved a grade 8, and have gone on to do English at A-level.
I can target subject-specific content revision, including English Literature essay questions or tackling difficult Maths questions on the new course By focusing on the specification and assessment objectives, we can make weakness-targeted revision material and develop essay-writing skills and structures that guarantee a high level, even in stressful exam situations
My teaching is individual. A student learns in different ways and my aim is to always encourage a sense of achievement and pride when finishing pieces of work. I also want to support the development of a student and spark a passion for education.
I give lessons to pupils aged 9-17, from primary SATS preparation to A Level preparation for the subject English, specifically Literature. I have worked as a Peer Mentor in The University of Leeds, working with five students to help them to settle in to university life. I am approachable, friendly, attentive, inquisitive and endeavour to help others.
My teaching methodology is centred on the learner.
I enjoy developing a good relationship with my pupils in order for both them to enjoy the lessons and feel comfortable enough to be able to tell me what they feel they need.
As a young person who has recently sat GCSE's , I know the courses inside out- as exemplified by my results (10 A/A*s). I tutor primary school children for help with entrance exams and GCSE candidates who want to boost their grades up to the A* / Level 9 bracket in English , Mathematics, Biology , Chemistry , Physics and History.
Methodology conforms to each student, as my belief is that everyone has his/her own way of approaching the process of studying
I base my classes on individual needs, thus teach my teaching methodology is Principled Eclecticism – fitting the method to the learner, not the learner to the method.
My teaching aims to support and inspire children to achieve their potential. I have studied Primary Education and have supported children in a whole-class and one-to-one environment. As an educator I believe I strive for the best children can achieve and can discover their limitations to support them.
I am a patient, friendly and confident tutor with teaching and tutoring experience across primary and secondary schools, colleges, community centres and universities. I chose to become a tutor as I have a genuine passion for education and enjoy supporting students throughout their studies.
Tutoring Approach: - Detailed knowledge of the curricula - Well-structured lessons bespoke to your students specific learning requirements - Lessons are balanced with challenge and a sense of achievement to improve confidence - Excellent awareness of exam structure/content - I am also able to teach pupils with dyslexia, or similar learning difficulties.
I believe that some people don’t understand English’s straight away as I found the subject extremely hard myself and I believe that repetition and constant exam practice allows one to notice the pitfalls in their knowledge and improve it. I attended a grammar school and so understand the importance of education.
i am Lauren i love to help people out and i never give up when things get hard i may only be in high school but i believe i can help as much as you want and i promise i will make you proud
I work closely to the National Curriculum to ensure effective learning, but openly encourage reading and writing for pleasure, as I believe these are intrinsic to mastering the skills required for academic success.
I have taught as a secondary school English teacher for 5 years. I tutor GCSE students regularly and offer support for KS3 English, GCSE English Language and Literature and A Level English Literature. I tailor the lessons to the individual needs of the student.
Hi I’m Abbie I’m 23 and from West Kirby. I teach using fun, engaging activities and games whenever possible. I believe the more fun a child’s learning is the better they retain the information given. I am able to support ages 3-11 through any part of their schooling including SATs and phonics screening.
I work to the needs of my students so I do not have a set way of teaching, I make sure the students fully understand and enjoy what they are doing no matter what it takes! I have an A Level in English Literature soon to begin my Degree, I put my heart and soul into my work and want to share my passion with others!
I work primarily up to A level for English, Religious Education/Philosophy and Ethics and History. I have found that the best way to encourage learning and understanding is by encouraging discussion, debate and teaching back. It also helps to foater critical thinking and analysis skills.
