About Talia
I am currently taking a gap year before starting university, having achieved an A* in AQA A-Level Biology in June 2026. Having recently completed my own A-Levels, I understand the challenges students can face and how overwhelming Biology can sometimes feel. I enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts and would love to share the knowledge and techniques I have developed. I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My lessons will be personalised around each student’s individual needs and goals. We can focus on understanding difficult topics, revising key content, practising exam questions or improving exam technique. I believe that asking questions and discussion throughout lessons ensures that students genuinely understand the content rather than simply memorising it which is crucial for tackling difficult application questions. We can also work through mark schemes to understand how to apply knowledge and gain marks. I am happy to adapt the pace and teaching style depending on what works best for each student!
