About Abbie
My name is Abbie and I am a pharmacy student at the University of Bath. I studied A-Levels in AQA Biology [A*], AQA Chemistry [A] and Edexcel Mathematics [A]. I completed these A-Levels in 2025 so I am aware of the knowledge and skills needed to pass A-Level and GCSE exams. I used the exam specifications to ensure my teaching fits the criteria set by your exam board as well as making sure we cover areas you find more difficult. I believe that lessons should be interactive allowing you to retain the knowledge you've learnt. I understand that everyone is unique so will have a different way of learning that suits them best. I am happy to spend time what works well for you or to trial different methods or styles. Outside of my academics, you can probably find me outside climbing or walking.

I tutor AQA and Edexcel GCSE Biology and Chemistry. I achieved A*AA in my A-Levels and I am now currently studying pharmacy at the University of Bath. The best way to learn is through a personalised teaching style which can be offered by my tutoring styles. I like to take the opportunity to discover the strengths of my students and tailor the lessons I deliver to work for them. This can include a focus on exam questions, transforming concepts into diagrams and pictures, step-by-step conversations and work throughs of concepts and questions. I have experience with neurodiverse students and understand how important individual, unique sessions can be in aiding learning. Lessons run online for approximately an hour and lessons allow for a break to reduce cognitive load and assist learning.
