I am a university student, currently studying English and Related Literature. As someone with a genuine passion for the subject, I hope to offer tuition to students who may need additional support in reaching their full potential. My interest in English Literature and Language allows me to continue to better myself, and inspires me to encourage others to enjoy the subject too.

Having both received, and given tutoring in the past, and recently achieving As in both English Literature and Language, I am able to offer up-to-date teaching on both course content and exam technique. I also understand the effectiveness of personalised private tuition. After establishing your goals, my lessons will consist of content tailored to you, that aims to help you achieve the grades you desire. Whilst I understand English isn’t everyone’s favourite subject, I offer lessons that are enjoyable and (hopefully) more colourful than previous experiences. Using engaging methods and activities will encourage new ways of approaching both learning and the subject itself.

I have known Madeleine throughout her years of studying and she has constantly showed determination, resilience as well as great leadership. She is always patient and understanding whilst tutoring and learning, whilst receiving the top grades time and time again.
Madeleine is a very organised person, she would organise each tutor session to suit my needs. She did this by providing materials and questions for me to complete then for us to go through the answers together. Madeleine is a lovely person as she was always patient and kind when helping me with my English work, both my literature and my English language. Her teaching ethics helped me receive a grade 9 in my English literature.
