About Vikram
I achieved a Grade 9 (100%) in GCSE English Literature, and I'm currently studying English Literature at A Level, predicted an A* (97%). Through my studies, I've developed strong skills in essay writing, textual analysis, and building well-structured arguments — skills that are central to doing well at GCSE. I know how challenging it can be to feel confident writing under exam conditions, especially when aiming for the top grades, which is exactly why I decided to start tutoring. I really enjoy helping other students succeed and seeing their confidence grow, whether that's finally understanding how to analyse a key quote or feeling ready to plan and write a strong essay from scratch. My lessons cover Macbeth, Of Mice and Men, and An Inspector Calls, and are focused on helping you write clear, well-structured essays that make strong, well-evidenced arguments: the key to reaching the top grades at GCSE. We'll work on close analysis of key quotes and language, understanding context and how to use it effectively, and building essays with a strong, logical structure that flows from a clear argument to a well-supported conclusion. I tailor sessions to your specific exam board and the texts you're studying, and I'm happy to work on whichever areas you find most challenging, from planning an essay under timed conditions to refining your analytical writing style.
