About Hasti
Humanities, Literacy and Analytic skills are not luck but learnt. I deem myself an amazing tutor as a part-time mentor for students in my former school, helping out with ALL essay-based subjects; including History Edexcel, Religious Studies AQA and English Lit&Lang AQA with FULL MARKS achieved and 9999 predicted in GCSE papers. Instilling confidence in young learners brings me joy as I make my way through my A-levels in hopes to eventually graduate with a PhD in Philosophy at Oxford to teach Full Time! I’ve dedicated hours of research towards teaching styles which have allowed me to raise my friends' grades from 4s to 7-8s within a minimum of 5 months. I believe these skills are absolutely crucial to develop and carry onto further education to assist with CV writing, university applications and general life skills. I hope to instil this confidence within more young learners and make English a little less intimidating.

My teaching style is very flexible, changing to each student’s individual needs and filling all blank spots of knowledge one by one. I do not believe in heavy essay assignments but instead focusing on optimising your time during exams and teaching structural habits that make writing far easier for struggling students. For those aiming for the highest grades, I analyse the examiner’s notes from the exam board’s previous reports of past exams, allowing me to target blind spots of previous students therefore teaching my students how to stand out to examiners marking hundreds of essays weekly. I, of course, read previous essays and exams and examine from there what needs to be improved and what should be continued for students to reach their full potential within the subject and will set homework accordingly.
