About Jermaine
Hello my name is Jermaine, I’m a student going into Yr 11 and I am hoping to be able to tutor other students in GCSE maths and science. I am very passionate about science in particular and like reading and learning more about topics within chemistry and physics. I first started tutoring yr 9 students in yr and found that I like helping others to understand topics better and give them the right knowledge to be able to have a solid foundation to their knowledge and be able to answer questions confidently.

The best way to learn is by first going over a topic then going through lots of practice and being free to make mistakes and learn for them so I aim to spend lots of time solving problems and helping them learn through experience. So that they can be confident in answering questions in exams and eventually at their GCSEs
Lessons will typically last 1-1.5 hours
I am going into yr 11 and have worked at my school as a Chemistry tutor for nearly a year tutoring yr 9s. I have predicted a predicted 8U in Physics and a predicted 9L in Chemistry and Biology. I have also taken my maths GCSE a year early.
My lessons are ideally aimed at KS3 students and also yr 10 students to prepare them for their GCSEs
