About Emily
My mission is to make maths accessible to all. It’s an important life skill to have, and often asked for in jobs and further education. I help unpack any negative beliefs about maths and help students gain their confidence back to be able to pass, and often pass well! I genuinely believe that everyone can pass and improve their grades if they have the right tutor.

My lessons are structured to you! I typically help with exam prep for GCSEs and SATs, but general tutoring at this level is something I also have experience in. Lessons are typically 30 minutes, but double lessons of an hour can also be booked. I target understanding of the fundamentals of maths, so my student can understand the “why”. Often, class teachers will leave this level of understanding behind in favour of straight memorisation, in the hopes that it’s enough to pass. I aim to tackle this in my lessons.
