About Sheryar
I am a doctor with over 3 years of teaching experience, and I have cleared USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. Alongside medical subjects, I have extensive experience teaching Chemistry to GCSE, A-Level, and pre-medical students, with a strong focus on making difficult concepts simple and exam-friendly.
My background in medicine gives me a strong foundation in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, and problem-solving, which helps me explain topics in a clear and connected way. I enjoy teaching students how to understand the logic behind Chemistry rather than memorising formulae or mark-scheme phrases without meaning.
Over the years, I have helped students improve their confidence, strengthen weak areas, practise exam-style questions, and develop better revision strategies. My teaching style is patient, structured, and focused on results. I aim to make each lesson practical, high-yield, and tailored to the student’s level, exam board, and goals.

My Chemistry lessons are structured, clear, and focused on helping students properly understand the subject while also improving exam performance. I teach GCSE and A-Level Chemistry in a way that connects the core concepts with the exact style of questions students are likely to face in exams.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s current level, exam board, weak areas, and goals. I can help with organic chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, calculations, bonding, energetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry, rates of reaction, moles, titrations, and practical-based questions.
A typical lesson includes step-by-step explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions, past-paper practice, and mark-scheme focused feedback. I make sure students understand not only how to get the answer, but why that answer is correct and how to write it in the way examiners expect.
For students who struggle with calculations, I break the method down clearly and build confidence gradually. For students aiming for higher grades, I focus on harder application questions, common traps, exam technique, and how to approach unfamiliar questions logically.
My aim is to make Chemistry feel less overwhelming and more predictable, so students can improve their understanding, confidence, and marks.
