My teaching method centres around building confidence around exam practice and technique. I help students tackle practice papers and work through concepts to support this. I like to tailor my approach to individual students.
I'm looking to improve my skills in working with young people which is why I'm looking to make this really affordable.
I have completed 3 years of my Medical degree so far and am starting a year of research at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring maths since I was 16 supported by materials from my mum who is a maths teacher. I offer lessons to students learning maths up to GCSE level.
I'd be happy to offer tutoring in Maths and or sciences, advice for applying to medical school or university or general study skills advice.
I have experience tutoring maths for levels year 7 to A2 level (year 13) and have access to lots of maths resources as my mum is a secondary school maths teacher. I have also tutored A-level chemistry in the past.
I also have experience teaching as a medical student for years 1,2,5,6 and 7 in primary and secondary schools.
I'm looking to improve my skills in working with young people which is why I'm looking to make this really affordable.
My qualifications include A*s at A-level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Extended Project and an A at English Literature AS, and 11A*s and 2As at GCSE.

I would not hesitate to book Eleanor. She was an A** pupil herself as a child, and as a grown woman she is experienced and clever, reliable, patient and kind. Oh, and I do you need me to say she is a mega-brain? Don’t hesitate.
Eleanor is one of the most trustworthy, intelligent, kind, organised and phenomenally patient people I've had the pleasure of working with until now, with a real skill for translating the most difficult concepts into digestible, key chunks of knowledge that make learning manageable. Having experienced first hand her peer-teaching on one of the toughest university courses, cannot recommend her highly enough!
Eleanor is very reliable and approachable. She is very good at explaining things in layman's terms.
Eleanor is a hard working and intelligent teacher. She really takes the time to explain concepts in a way that suits each student and is very patient even with the slowest of learners.
Eleanor is very smart and always has great passion for her teaching. She's kind and understanding, ensuring enough time is spent on her students understanding.
Eleanor is a wonderful student who excels academically with great grades. She has a passion for teaching and is a kind and gentle soul.
