About Keira
I’m a Physics tutor with 6 years of experience teaching GCSE, A-Level, and university students. I cover all major exam boards and teach topics from forces, energy, and waves to electricity, magnetism, mechanics, fields, quantum physics, particle physics, and thermodynamics. I also support required practicals, data analysis, and engineering/physics degree modules.
Over the past 6 years I’ve helped students jump from grade 4 to 8, achieve A* grades for engineering and physics degrees, and master challenging first and second-year university content. My approach is visual and logic-driven. We break complex ideas into clear steps using diagrams, analogies.
Lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to you. We target gaps first, then build with past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports. I’ll show you how to rearrange formulae, handle units, tackle 6-mark answers, and interpret practical data without panicking. Lessons are clear, practical, and built around your goals. Whether you’re studying GCSE forces and energy, A-Level fields and quantum, or university mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, we focus on understanding before applying.
Each session starts with what you need: a tough topic, past-paper question, or required practical. I break down ideas like Newton’s laws, electricity, waves, radioactivity, momentum, circular motion, and simple harmonic motion using diagrams, worked examples, and real-world links. We take equations like F = ma, V = IR, and E = mc^2 step by step so you know when and why to use each one.
For GCSE and A-Level, we match content to your specification and mark schemes. We practise multi-step calculations, 6-mark extended responses, and data analysis from experiments. I’ll show you how to rearrange formulae, handle units, draw graphs, and avoid common mistakes. University students get help with problem sheets, derivations, lab reports, and linking theory to physical meaning.
Sessions are patient and interactive. No question is too basic. We use past papers, flashcards, and quick checks to lock in knowledge. You’ll leave with clear notes, model solutions, and a revision plan. The aim is to make physics logical and predictable so you approach exams with confidence.
