About Jacky
Hi, I’m Jacky — an MSc Finance and Investment student with a strong academic background in mathematics and quantitative analysis. I specialise in GCSE Maths preparation and focus on helping students build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and achieve higher grades in their exams.
My teaching approach is structured and exam-focused. I begin by identifying a student’s weak areas through diagnostic questions, then create a targeted learning plan designed to maximise improvement in the shortest time possible. Lessons are clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style.
I have experience explaining complex concepts in a simple and engaging way, ensuring students not only understand the material but can apply it effectively under exam conditions. Whether a student is aiming to pass, move up a few grades, or reach the top bands, I provide the guidance, practice, and strategies needed to succeed.

My lessons are typically 1-hour long, and it will mainly involve going over exam/practice questions for topics in which you are not confident in. My lessons are only for students who are studying towards GCSE level maths, so preferably Year 10/11 students, however, KS3 maths will also be considered.
