About Bismah
I am training to be a teaching assistant at a primary school. I enjoy supporting pupils with Maths or English. I have done some mentoring and supported people to improve on their literacy i.e. reading and writing and helped support a student prepare for GCSE exams. I have full knowledge of the current English and Maths syllabus according to the National Curriculum standards.
I have had a recent DBS check for a placement at a primary school and it has come out all clear.

The teaching style that I use is that I ask the student what they want to do and learn and get better at and then I teach them that using materials such as books, worksheets and youtube videos so that they get a better understanding.
When doing practice exam questions I read through the question and give out ideas and ways in which you can answer the question and use methods that suites the individual that I am working with as there is always more than one method that you can use to answer a question.
