About Navya
At present I study BA Geography at Durham Geography, ranked 7th in the world for Geography and 3rd in the UK. Durham is constantly ranked in the top 10 globally for Geography. I sit on the student-staff consultative committee which decides teaching methods and discusses curriculum with senior staff. One of my passions is also Literature which I am well versed in, having taken achieved a top 7 in my English A Literature IB exam. I currently help students from my old school with their English, both in learning the language and studying literature.

I think that communication, understanding and a kind attitude is the most important way to encourage learning, particularly having had an array of teachers who have treated their students in very different ways. The International Baccalaureate can be an extremely stressful and daunting for students, and having done it before I am very keen on helping students learning - knowing that they are capable of a high potential.
