About Emma
English was my second language, and through hard work, self-teaching, and developing study methods that worked for me, I made my way to Georgetown Law, where I am graduating this year. My own experience has made me passionate about helping students who may face similar challenges.
I have over a decade of tutoring experience, including extensive experience working with students with learning disabilities. I understand that every student learns differently, and I love helping students discover the strategies that work best for them, build confidence, and develop study skills they can use independently throughout their education.

My approach is to make difficult material easier to understand and remember. I teach students study tools such as acronyms, memorization techniques, and breaking complex concepts into manageable steps. I also encourage students to explain the material back to themselves to ensure they truly understand it rather than simply memorizing it.
I have a long history of working with students with learning disabilities, which has taught me to adapt my teaching style to each student’s individual needs. My goal is to help students develop both a stronger understanding of the material and study techniques they can continue using independently.
